Michael was the most painfully honest and straight forward person you could ever meet. There was nothing artificial about him. He was the kind of man to march to his own beat. Fun loving and hard working, there wasn't much he couldn't do or figure out when he put his mind to it. He excelled at most everything he tried and took pride in his work. He had a pioneering spirit with no desire to travel the beaten path. In fact, he preferred to make his own roads through life. Another family member put it well - "He was a doer, he made stuff, he got shit done. He chose the hardest job in America by starting his own business. He was on his way to making it work and making a living at it. I can only look up to him for sticking his neck out and believing in himself. There is no stress and no pain in Heaven. Mike is resting in peace now."
