Paul William Slater born July 27, 1938 in Bemedji, MN died October 31, 2018. A Spokane resident for over 70 years. Preceded in death by parents Arthur and Esther Slater; sisters Norma Collingwood and Evelyn Peterson; brothers Eugene and David Slater; daughters Rebecca Faith and Deborah Joy Walsh. Survived by his wife of 60 years Lois Ettie Slater and daughter Dorothy Kay Greenamyer; granddaughters Cherralyn and Diana Greenamyer; grandson Dusty Walsh; son-in law Tim Walsh; great granddaughters Jayney and Emaline Walsh; brother Phil & Sherry Slater and sister in law Nancy Slater. Retired from Super Value Grocery Company. He loved gardening, scrolling wood and lending a helping hand to those in need. He had a small craft business called Paul’s Wood Things, he was a past member of First Baptist in Spokane and currently a member of Northview Bible Church. He loved his Savior Jesus Christ, his Bible and Church and singing hymns, his family and his cat Minka. His last answer would be “Whatever”. Memorials may be sent to the Union Gospel Mission or the building program at Northview Bible Church 13521 N Mill Rd. Spokane, WA 99208. Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2018, 2:00 PM at Northview Bible Church. Final Resting place is at Fairmount Memorial Park.
