Robert T. "Bob" Hill passed away in Spokane, Washington on January 25, 2019 at the age of 93. Bob was born in Wheatland, Wyoming on April 25, 1925 to William and Ida Hill and had six siblings. After graduating from Fort Laramie High School in 1943 he served in the US Navy. He married Irma Coy in Torrington, Wyoming on February 21, 1947, and they had five children.
They lived in various locations in Wyoming, where Bob worked as a mechanic, including Wheatland, Greybull, Cheyenne, Casper, Glenrock and Sheridan, and were also in Fairbanks, Alaska for a few years.
He is survived by his brother, William Hill of Torrington, WY; daughter, Donna Lythgoe of Cheney, WA; sons, David Hill of Centennial, CO and Jim Hill of Surprise, AZ; four grandchildren, Gina Schmidt, Saxon Hill, Joni MacNeill, Stacey Lythgoe; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Irma; and sons, Michael and Thomas.
There will be a celebration of his life in Glenrock, WY at a date to be determined this coming summer.
