

Norma is survived by husband Gene, three children: Richard(Barb) Anderson, of Spooner WI, David(Laura) Anderson of Appleton WI, and Laura(Keith) Stone of Chesapeake VA. Eight grandchildren: Nathan(Val) Anderson of Cumberland WI, Jay(Shannon) Anderson of Shell Lake WI, Richelle(Jeff) Hanson of Barronnett WI, Lauren Anderson of Appleton WI, Brian Pine of Chesapeake VA, Alec Pine of Chesapeake VA, Caitlyn Pine of Chesapeake VA and Ben Anderson of Appleton WI. Seven great grandchildren: Emmalee Statz of Shell Lake, Luke Anderson of Cumberland WI, Emme Anderson of Cumberland WI, Bailee Hanson of Barronnett, Payton Anderson of Shell Lake WI, Makenna Anderson of Shell Lake WI, and Cade Hanson of Barronett WI. Three sisters: Elaine Kruger of Spooner WI, Lois(Darrell) Courter of Ft Meyers FL, Linda(Bill) Austin of Long Lake WI, and one brother Larry Holt of Spooner WI.
Preceding her in death were Father and Mother Ralph and Lulu Holt, step Mother Grace Holt, Brother Donald Holt and daughter Mary.
Gene and Norma were married in the Spooner Methodist Church on July 20th 1949 and were married for over 63 years. They resided in the Earl area all their lives.
Norma was active in the community through 4H leadership, Town Treasurer, Washburn County /State Historical Society, Home Makers, Spooner High School Alumni association president, Earl Church, Church Choirs, Community Choirs, Home makers choirs, and Sweet Adelines. She worked at Shell Lake Hospital as a Nurses Aid and Pharmacy Tech for most of her working life. Norma enjoyed singing, whistling, cooking, canning, baking, berry picking, quilting, sewing, history, hunting, fishing, baseball, playing cards and gardening. Norma is described as an energetic, vivacious, hospitable woman who enjoyed humor, home, family and friends.
Casket bearers will be Ben, Jay, Luke, Nathan Anderson, Alec and Brian Pine. Honorary casket bearers will be Richelle Hanson and Caitlyn Pine
Burial will follow the service at the Earl Cemetery.
