Anna Marie Luperti (née Testa), 90, passed away on April 10, 2025, in Spring Hill, Florida. Born in New Jersey on May 21, 1934, Anna was the daughter of Frances (née Gullucci) and Sidney Testa, Italian immigrants who came to America in search of a better life. She grew up in a lively household alongside her siblings—Michael, Frank, Sidney, and sister Concetta “Connie” Testa—rooted in family, faith, and loyalty.
In 1962, in Miami, Florida, Anna married the love of her life, John L. Luperti. Together, they built a life filled with devotion, laughter, and a shared love for their beloved pets.
Her husband John passed in 2008, closing a beautiful chapter of their life together.
Anna had a style all her own. If she wasn’t wearing vibrant red lipstick, she wasn’t fully dressed. She adored bold, chunky jewelry and had a personality to match—radiant, warm, and impossible to forget. She was a warrior in spirit, generous in heart, and unwavering in her love for those lucky enough to know her.
She was especially close to her niece Mildred Fitz (née Esterson), recently departed, of Toms River, New Jersey.
Anna is survived by her husband’s grand-nephews, William Fitz, and his wife Sindy of Allbrightsville, Pennsylvania, and Jack Fitz, and his wife Victoria of Brick, New Jersey. They will all lovingly carry forward her memory and legacy.
Fierce in spirit and radiant in love, Anna’s warmth and energy touched all who knew her—and many who only wish they had.
“Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord.”
—Matthew 25:23
Anna will be laid to rest in Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513.
