Thoughts of my initial meeting of our “Nana!” She was regal, beautiful, strong and didn’t mind telling it exactly as it was. The family historian and photographer.  My daughter Tiffany (Barbara’s granddaughter) shares this trait and will continue her photography legacy. Nana took excellent care of herself and her hair, nails, purses/bags, sun glasses, jewelry and shoes were always fashionable, classy and gorgeous.  She left a beautiful legacy of children, grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and family. Rest well and I love you!  Angela🙏💕

I guess I met Barbara Swanson in the 1960’s at a school event.  Her daughter Candace was always the center of activities in school and so I was thrilled to have two of the other daughters, Melody and Meredith, in my 6th grade classes. I have known them all for so many years. I just want the family to know that I feel such sadness for them and their loss. She was a beautiful, bright and strong woman who left her imprint on all who knew her. Sending love.
