Beverly J. McAllister

Beverly J. McAllister, 85, of Grand Island, Florida passed away on Friday, May 6, 2016. She was born in Michigan City, Indiana to Mohamad and Hazel Shelhop. Beverly and Robert attended Haines Creek Baptist Church. Some of our most favorite memories were listening to mother play the piano and sing. She was the most giving person not only of money, but time. She has always put others ahead of her own needs. Family was the most important part of her life. Her church was and has always been a part of her extended family. Beverly’s last words were of concern for her family, “I just hope every one of you will do ok without me”! Beverly will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Mohamad and Hazel Shelhop.

She is survived by her husband Robert McAllister; Donald & (Julie) Stantz, Joseph & (Robin) Stantz, daughters: Bonnie & (Keith) Johnson, Christina & (John) Nagel, Kimberly Ratajczak, Kathy & (Wayne) Gale, Karen & (Bernie) White; 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 10-12pm Tuesday, May 10, 2016. Funeral service will be 12pm all at Turner Funeral Home. Burial will be at 2pm located at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
