Carol Annette Thompson, 79, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023. She was born in Fort Jackson, South Carolina, to Walter and Dorothy Mason. Carol enjoyed crossword and sudoku puzzles, nature, animals, bowling, and crocheting; most of all she cherished spending time with her family. She was of the Methodist faith and will be missed by her loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Thompson, son Martin Thompson, and parents Walter and Dorothy Mason.
She is survived by her son Eric Thompson; daughter Jan Hofheinz (Michael); brothers Richard, Dory, and Gary Mason; and grandchildren Taylor Thompson, Isabella Thompson, Michael Thompson, and Bryce Hofheinz.
Visitation will be 5-8PM on Thursday, March 2, 2023, and Celebration of Life will begin at 11AM on Friday, March 3, 2023. Both events will be held at Turner Funeral Home. Committal service will follow Celebration of Life on Friday at Florida Hills Memorial Gardens in Spring Hill.
