Catherine Gillen Cook, 58, passed away on February 24, 2026, surrounded by her family. Born on December 6, 1967, in Brooklyn, Catherine was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, and a woman of deep Catholic faith.
Catherine loved cooking and baking for her family, and nothing made her happier than gathering everyone around the table. She made each occasion special with her warmth and love.
She is survived by her loving children, Susan Brooks and Michael Cook; her husband of 31 years, Thomas Cook; her father, Michael Gillen; her stepmother, RoseAnne Gillen; and her cherished grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Thomas Joseph Cook III, and her mother, Mary D’Aleo
