March 22, 1973 – December 17, 2025
Cathy, lovingly known for her radiant smile and generous heart, passed away on December 17, 2025. She was born on March 22, 1973, in Miami, Dade County, Florida. Cathy was adopted and raised by her devoted parents, Jacki and Robert Craig, and grew up alongside her siblings, Robert “Sport” Craig, Vicki Rogers, and Cathy Hurt who remained an important part of her life.
Cathy was a proud and devoted mother to her son, Dutch Jordan Coker, who was truly the center of her world. As a single mother, she raised him with unwavering love, strength, and dedication, always putting his happiness and well-being first.
In 2012, Cathy moved to Spring Hill, Florida, where she built a life rooted in friendship, service, and love for her community.
She spent many years serving others through her work in the education system. Cathy began her career as an administrative assistant at Nature Coast High School and later worked as a financial aid advisor at Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC), where she helped countless students pursue their goals. Her kindness, patience, and genuine care left a lasting impact on everyone she encountered.
Cathy had a heart that knew no limits. She loved deeply and freely and would do anything for anyone in need. That same love carried into her marriage to her beloved husband, Glen “Eddie” Hickey. Together, they blended their families into one, creating a home filled with love and laughter. Cathy embraced Eddie’s children, Robert “Robbie” Edward Hickey and Logan Connor Hickey, along with her daughter-in-law, Nakita Elizabeth Hickey, as her own.
Beyond her devotion to family and friends, Cathy had many passions. She loved crafting, especially making shirts and collectibles, and she had a deep love for dogs. She volunteered with MAD Rescue, helping Malinois and Dutch Shepherds find their forever homes—another reflection of her compassionate and selfless spirit.
Cathy’s presence was unmistakable. She lit up every room she entered with her energy, warmth, and infectious smile. She cherished the beach, traveling with her husband Eddie, and making every moment and memory unforgettable.
One of her greatest joys was becoming “Gigi” to her beloved grandson, Liam Rowan Hickey. She was beyond blessed and ecstatic to watch him grow and to be part of his life.
Cathy’s lifelong dream was to retire alongside her husband, spend cherished moments with family, and see the world together. Though her time was far too short, the love she gave and the memories she created will live on forever.
Cathy will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered by all whose lives she touched.
