Catherine Louis

Born in Brooklyn, NY, on August 10, 1944, Catherine – better known as Tina by most, grew up with her sister Josephine and brothers Peter and Vincent in their beloved family home at 373 Bleecker Street, alongside their parents, Peter and Mary. That home was a warm, lively place that left a lasting impression on all who entered.

Tina graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1962 and went on to work in technology and administration, holding positions at Chloral Group, Signalert Corporation, and Hernando Radiology.

In 2015, Tina married Bob Louis. Tina had a passion for travel, one of her most memorable trips was to Egypt. Tina enjoyed cooking, spending time with family, and finding humor in life’s everyday moments. Her unforgettable laugh brought joy to everyone around her.

Tina is survived by her brother, Peter Cucuzza; her stepdaughter, Sylvia Starace; nephews Gregory, Keith, Christopher, and Nicholas Cucuzza; niece Karen Corbett; niece-in-law Elaine Wieczorek; great-nephews Kase and Kota Cucuzza; and many extended family members and dear friends.

A memorial gathering of family and close friends will be announced. Catherine will be laid to rest at Bushnell National Cemetery in Sumter County, Florida, where she will be interred with her husband, Bob Louis.
