Daryl Ward Benjamin

Daryl Ward Benjamin, age 84, of Spring Hill, FL passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 in his home under the care of HPH Hospice and his loving family. He is the husband of Barbara Benjamin for 37 years. Born in Pleasantville, NJ he was a son of the late Ward and Jessica Benjamin. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy retiring after 20 years of service. He was of the Methodist faith. He was an avid golfer and family man. After his retirement from the U S Navy he worked for Borden Dairy for over 20 years. After working at the Dairy he worked at Reflections On The Gulf, Indian Rocks Beach, FL as a security guard. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Barbara and sons: Donald Benjamin and his wife Brenda of Washington; Daryl Benjamin and Dana of Clearwater, FL and daughters: Patricia wife of Danny Calhoun of Redington Beach, FL and Amy wife of Jay Driscoll of Clearwater, FL. He has 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 3 grandchildren. He is also survived by Sisters-In-Law: Patricia wife of Michael Reed of St. Petersburg, FL and Alice Barbara Benjamin of Merritt Island, FL and numerous nieces, nephews and friends and his furry companions, Maggie and Fox.
