Please accept my deepest and must sincere condolences for the incredible loss of your son. There are no words to express the sorrow and heartache of losing a child. I lost my firstborn son and the grief is excruciating.  I promise that with time you will manage to cope better, but the heartache never goes away. You will find the strength  to wake up and face each day. To say you will miss him is an understatement. Every day you have to face life with determination.  You have to know that his love for you all and your love for him will sustain you. You have to focus on the precious memories and treasure those moments and photos. He would want you to smile and laugh as you remember his precious  life. My youngest daughter dated Gage for a brief period in 2019. We spoke on a number of occasions & I enjoyed his humor & sincerity. He never shyed away from speaking to me which so many of his generation do. They say only the good die young...God has a new advocate & angel. Take good care during this very difficult time. I still remember like it was yesterday my beautiful friend Peggy with little Gage running around the villa. Prayers for the entire Brooks family.

We were always brothers from day one... I love you man ❤️ Was just thinking about all the memories from when we were little little kids to now as adults. Not many people can just leave for years come back and pickup like nothing ever happened. The one person I could always rely on to pickup the phone or call me 🤙 much love and I’ll see you soon ❤️❤️

I remember Peggy moving back to Florida with the absolutely cutest little baby on her hip. I got the pleasure of babysitting Gage a few times and saw him grow up into a handsome young man. My heart breaks for the Brooks family and will pray for your strength and healing and these times. ❤️ VIKI

Gage was one of my best friends at one point. I used to call him every other day, and when I did he would come pick me up in two seconds and we would drive out to random places like Jenkins Creek late at night or the Mall all day and talk about our problems at the time and he always made me laugh and helped me forget about everything! He was a great friend and my parents loved him. I'll forever cherish our memories and miss you Gage. 

I only got the chance to get to know gage for a short while, but in that short amount of time I instantly knew gage was something special. I’m really hurt I didnt get the chance to get to know him more. He was so full of life, praying for his loved ones in this horrible time. 

Our hearts go out to the Brooks family. We pray that you are able to find peace and healing. You have our deepest sympathy. 

I have no words or I wish I had the right words to speak about your loss to this community.  I do know that during my tenure at Central, Gage was always one of the bright spots that always made the time to ask me how my day was, how was my family, never was disrespectful.  We would have these conversations of how I raised my kids when their Dad worked out of town so much.  He would compliment me how I raised them,   It always brought tears to my eyes,   Gage, I am sure I will never forget you, you touched so many lives.  I wish you peace!  May you fly high amongst the angels❤️

My absolute favorite memory he’s ever given me. We were broken up at the time, but that didn’t stop him from watching me walk across that stage. He broke into Springstead’s graduation and watched from the fence, taking photos and screaming my name. I had no idea until he left a note on my car and I was in tears. We met right after at Dunkin where this photo was taken. No matter where we stood he wanted me to have that prom, graduation, and every other memory that came with senior year with one person. It speaks volumes about his character and the lengths he would go to make the ones he loved happy. Above all, we had the best friendship. Rest easy Gage ❤️

I still don’t believe that you’re really gone. You were my best friend and the best dog dad I could ask for. I love and miss you so much Gage, my heart is so heavy. You were the person I called when I needed someone to talk to, or when I was just bored and needed to pass the time. I could call you at literally any time and you’d answer the phone and talk to me no matter what you were doing. I don’t think either of us ever thought our breakup would last forever. You hold such a special place in my heart. Me and Jax miss you so much❤️

I’m still in shock that this happened. My heart is in pieces. You were too young and you had so much potential. You were the most fun and crazy person I knew. You could turn just a simple hangout into an adventure and you could sweet talk yourself out of almost any situation. You were the person that when I was at my lowest points I could call and you would immediately make me smile with some over the top compliment even though we haven’t dated in almost 3 years. You’ll always have a special place in my heart and I’ll miss you forever.

He always made me smile. I loved him from the first time I held him. He will always be part of me. 

I remember when we were hanging out at a buddies late at night and we heard a bang. Turned out it was a horse. Fun crazy times.

My heart is broken for the entire Brooks family. I can not even imagine the catastrophic heart ache and pain you are going through. Gage reminded me so much out my son, Bailey Smith. They played soccer together for many years. I remember taking McKenna to Dunkin’ Donuts for ice cream and Gage would always sneak her an extra scoop, she thought that was so cool. I’m so sorry.  My heart is broken.

I had a great time playing soccer with Gage all through high school. This picture represents one of the most glorious moments of my life, and there’s Gage, right behind me, celebrating my victory goal. Rest In peace my brother.
