

Gary J. Nahai, 73, passed away on February 12, 2025, as a resident of Spring Hill, Florida. Born on December 20, 1951, to Joseph and Vilma Nahai, Gary grew up in the Fords section of Woodbridge, New Jersey. There, he served as an altar boy at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church before graduating from Woodbridge High School and Rutgers University. Gary later earned his Master in Business Administration degree.
Gary started his career as a production planner for Fedders Corporation in New Jersey. He quickly rose through the ranks, first relocating to Effingham, Illinois, and then to Singapore as the President of Fedders International Inc. Gary visited 26 countries while negotiating joint ventures and manufacturing agreements throughout Europe, Asia, and South America.
While living in Singapore, Gary met the love of his life, Jessie Nahai. They married in 2001 and eventually relocated back to New Jersey and then Florida. Gary is also survived by his sister Janet Phillips of Old Bridge, New Jersey, his son Christopher Nahai of Pennsylvania, and his nieces, nephew, and eight great-nieces and great nephews.
Gary will be remembered by his family for his strong will and determination. Family and friends will gather in Gary’s honor on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 10 am at the Turner Funeral Home, located at 14360 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, Florida 34609.
