I'm sad to heat about the passing of Father Murphy. He baptized me at St. George Orthodox church in Toronto, Ontario. He moved to the U.S when I was a baby, so I haven't seen him since. However, we exchanged Christmas cards each year to stay in touch. I know my parents will be sad to hear the news as well. They have very fond memories of him and also exchanged Christmas cards each year. What concerned me is when the last card I sent him came back deliverable.  That's when I did some searching and found out he passed. I remember trying to contact him when I went to Florida in December 2019 for my son's hockey tournament. I thought it would be a great idea to visit him since we were there. I never heard back, but of course I now see why.  May the Lord rest his soul & his spirit be eternal.
