He was born in Clarendon, Jamaica on May 20, 1933. He married the love of his life Lynett on June 10, 1967. James was a successful self-employed business man which enabled him to provide for his family. He migrated to the New York USA in 1997 where he resided until he moved to Florida in 2015.
He had a passion for watching cricket, boxing, and playing horses. Once in the USA he became an avid baseball fan and the watching of his favorite team the New York Yankees became a lifelong passion. As he got older James develop a daily Bible reading schedule which drew him closer to God, who he refer to as ‘My Father.’
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Lynett, who passed December 30, 2022; children, Linda (Joy), Dennis (Buddha), Alfred (Hopeton) and Carlos (Sata); and his siblings, John, Molly, Linda Watson, Ivy Archibal, Henry and George Miller.
Survivors include his children, Randall (Chino), John (Tye), Winston, Sonia, Devon (Tony), Rudolph (Chinny), Michael (Ricky), Moya and Lloyd (Bobby); brother, Lester Bailey; 30 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren.
