Jane Elizabeth Burinski was born on July 22, 1938 in Philadelphia, PA. Her father was Sidney Sneade. Her mother was Catherine Natalie Shute. A bright, capable student, she had a full-paid scholarship to Bryn Marr, PA to study nursing. She met her future husband, Thomas Joseph Burinski at a roller skating rink and it was love at first sight. She married Thomas 'Tom' on January 24, 1959, and they started a family the same year with the birth of son, Tom, followed by Michael in 1961 and Jill in 1966. They moved to New Port Richey, FL in 1971. Jane worked in the real estate business from 1973 to 1995, receiving her broker's license and then becoming a real estate appraiser. She and her husband moved to NE Georgia in 1995 and then back to FL in 2019. Jane enjoyed many hobbies such as photography, painting, gardening, reading, doing puzzles, and playing tennis. She loved animals, especially her two Pomeranians, but also a great advocate for taking care of the mistreated and donated to their welfare. Not only was she known for her generosity but her kindness and gentle nature as well. Strangers were known to open up to her as she was so approachable. She was the epitome of calmness, the most even-keeled person, and she radiated an aura of genuine warmth. Her radiant glow and inner calm will be dearly missed. Jane is survived by her husband, Thomas J. Burinski, her children, Thomas R. Burinski, Michael J. Burinski and Jill A. Troughton, her seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life for Jane will take place on June 4, 2023 at 2:00 pm. Please contact Jill Troughton or Mike Burinski for further details.
