I always enjoyed John's sense of humor and kindness. The last conversation I had with him, he was excited to have a go with his time in Alaska. He was always proud of his daughter and spoke so well of his grandson; I knew he loved them both immensely. Rest in peace, John, you are missed.

Very sorry to hear about John.....I enjoyed working with him for several years in Huntsville. We also shared an office while we were deployed in Romania, and he let me listen to my iTunes while teasing me about some of my music choices. :) He was a really good guy..... I will miss him. My condolences to the family. 

So very sorry for your loss.  I very much enjoyed talking into the evening with John in Romania about our military careers.  He participated in some of the most significant and discrete military operations  of his generation and deserved to be very proud of his service.  Godspeed John.  

I'm so sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of the great conversations we had at work here in Huntsville. I was truly saddened to hear of his passing. Look's like I will need make a trip to Chicago and find that pizza place he was always talking about. Wish I knew the name of it. 

My deepest sympathies to the family.  I enjoyed working with John for a few years  in Huntsville.  He was always kind and made me laugh.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
