Maria L. Fontan-Flores, age 92, passed away on November 2nd, 2017. Maria was born in Manati, Puerto Rico to Juan Fontan and Clementina Figueras. She moved to FL in 1978. Maria was a woman of faith and a member of the Berean Assembly in Spring Hill, FL. She enjoyed watching old movies and novellas but most of all; she loved spending time with her family. Maria will be greatly missed and remembered as an outgoing, friendly and caring person. Maria is preceded in death by her parents; son, Paul Miranda; and brother, Kellyn Fontan. Survivors include her beloved husband of 40 years, Encarnacion Flores Lozada; daughter, Ana Petritch; brothers, Raymon Fontan, Angel Fontan; sister, Carmen Mancuso; grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 5th from 2-5 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home in Spring Hill, FL. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 6th at 11 a.m. at the Berean Assembly in Spring Hill, FL before she is laid to rest in Florida Hills Memorial Gardens in Spring Hill, FL.
