Maria was the proud matriarch of a large and loving family. She is survived by her 7 children Roberto,Mariana,Isabel,Pancho,Juanita,Tonita,Minnie and Josie, twenty-three grandchildren, and twenty-eight great-grandchildren, all of whom carry her legacy of kindness, strength, and love.

Maria had a deep appreciation for beauty—expressed in her impeccable fashion sense and her thriving collection of plants. But more than anything, she was known for her heart. Whether it was offering a helping hand, a warm meal, or simply a listening ear, Maria lived to lift others up. She truly had a heart of gold.

Her love, wisdom, and warmth will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Maria Reyes, de 85 años, falleció pacíficamente el 23 de abril en Spring Hill, Florida. Aunque pasó sus últimos años en Florida, su corazón siempre perteneció a Nueva York.

María era la orgullosa matriarca de una familia numerosa y amorosa. Le sobreviven sus siete hijos, veintitrés nietos y veintiocho bisnietos, todos los cuales llevan su legado de bondad, fuerza y amor.

María tenía un profundo aprecio por la belleza, expresado en su impecable sentido de la moda y su próspera colección de plantas. Pero más que nada, era conocida por su corazón. A gathering of family and friends for Maria will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Turner Funeral Homes, Crematory and Cemetery, 14360 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, FL 34609. Following the gathering of family and friends will be a graveside services from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513.
