

Reuben Donald Woitas, age 65, of Spring Hill, FL., died on Monday April 20, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on March 27, 1950, in Wells, MN to the Late David & Constance (Avina) Woitas. A resident of Spring Hill, coming from Albert Lea, MN in August of 1997. Reuben retired with many years of service as a truck driver for the Miami Transfer Company, specializing in heavy equipment hauling for the Tampa, FL operations. A US Marine Corp Veteran of the Vietnam War, serving a tour in Vietnam as a truck driver. Reuben was catholic by faith and a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, and a longtime, member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, in Wells, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, and father-in-law Laurence Supalla. Reuben is lovingly survived by his wife, Betty Woitas of Spring Hill, FL. son, Daniel Woitas and his wife Amy, of Hopkins, MN. daughter, Robyn Birdsell and her husband Bradley, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. and daughter, Wendy Pappert and her husband Matthew, of Spring Hill, FL. He is survived as well by grandchildren, twins; Aubrey and Alexis, Caden, and Vivian. And he is fondly missed by his two dogs, Boots & Bailey. Reuben’s family and friends will gather for visitation on Sunday, April 26, 2015 from 5-8 PM, at the Turner Funeral Homes, Spring Hill Drive Chapel, 14360 Spring Hill Drive, FL 34601. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 5030 Mariner Blvd, Spring Hill, FL. 34609. On Monday April 27, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Military Honors and burial will follow at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
