Richard S. Doback, age 82, of Ridge Manor, FL died on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at Heron Point Health and Rehab Center, in Brooksville, FL. A resident of Florida for 25 years coming from Woodgate, New York. Richard was born on December 20, 1934, in Syracuse, New York, to the late Stephen and Margaret (Inglesby) Doback. Richard graduated from Baldwinsville Central High School in 1955, and he was active in Cross County and was a Track Star at school. Richard was employed by Honeywell for 34 years and by the Operating Engineers of New York. Richard was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church, in Ridge Manor, FL. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Constance A. (D’Imperio) Doback. Richard is survived as well by his daughters; Christine McMahon and Jodi Niles, grandchildren; Pamela Lawton, Caileigh Sovie, Phoenix Sovie, Alex Canty, and Connor Canty. Step-sons, Thomas Steele and Douglas Steele, grandchildren; Simone Steele, Natalie Steele, and Noah Steele. Funeral Services will be held in New York at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Richard’s memory to either the Alzheimer’s Foundation or to a charity of one’s own choice.
