Robert Myer was born March 26,1944 to Betty and Gerald Phillip Myer in Peoria, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, brother Phillip Myer, sisters Joann Myer Gorman and Nancy Myer Becraft. Also, his beloved daughter Angie Lynn Myer. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Nancy A Zsarnay Myer. Also surviving are his children Carmen Myer Rapson, Abbie Myer Carter, Phillip Robert Myer, and Jill Ann Myer.
Robert is a Vietnam Veteran having served in the Army. He also was an Ohio Air National Guard veteran. After his military service he ran an Appliance shop and raised his family with Nancy in Danville, Illinois. He was a member of MENSA, Elks, VFW, and American Legion.
Robert loved raising a family and was involved in all their activities as a coach or sponsor, building sets for show choir, board member for Marching band and orchestra. He will be sadly missed by all and leaves a huge void.
Burial will be at Florida Hills Memorial Gardens. Turner Funeral Home of Spring Hill, Florida is in charge of arrangements. Burial is graveside, 9:00am Saturday with full military honors. He will be laid to rest next to his daughter Angie Lynn Myer.
