Teri was born in Toledo, Ohio to Ned and Phyllis Heidtman. She was a 1978 graduate of Toledo Whitmer High School. On April 6, 1979 she married her high school sweetheart, Robert Lindhorst. Teri worked over 30 years in retail store management, retiring in 2019. Her favorite job was managing the Disney Store in Toledo with her fellow “Bad Girls”.
Teri and Bob moved to Spring Hill, Florida in May 2004 after raising their three children in Toledo. In 2005 Teri committed herself to fundraising for breast cancer research, walking to raise money and awareness for over 15 years. She loved traveling and cherished spending time with friends and family especially playing with her grandchildren.
Teri is survived by her husband of 42 years Robert Lindhorst Sr. Her children Ryan (Nathan) Purdom, Randi (George) Luedke and Robert (Michelle) Lindhorst Jr. and seven grandchildren Dresden, Dylann, Benjamin, Charlotte, Caraline, Josephine and Madilyn. She is also survived by her mother Phyllis (Gerald) Smith and her siblings Todd (Karla) Heidtman, Robin (Alan) Weickert and Heidi (David) Loyer and by many nieces and nephews. Teri is preceded in death by her father Ned (Nancy) Heidtman and her three little dogs Molly, Bella, and Gracie.
Teri was a woman of strong faith and conviction and a born fighter who was able to see the beauty in everyone. In lieu of flowers and donations spend time with your family and friends. Private Memorial Services will be held in Brooksville, Florida and Toledo, Ohio.
