Born in Brooksville, Florida on January 16, 1943, Thomas lived a life marked by steady devotion to others and a tireless work ethic that shaped both his days and the people who knew him.
Thomas graduated from Hernando High School, carrying forward the values of perseverance and responsibility that would remain evident throughout his life.
He spent his working years in the farming and citrus industry with Orange Kare Inc., where his hard work and reliability were reflected in the care he brought to his responsibilities and the respect he earned through consistent effort.
Thomas was married to Carolyn Estelle Mountain, who predeceased him. They were married in Brooksville, Florida. He is survived by his children, James R. Mountain and Katherine A. Mountain, and by his brother, George Mountain.
Beyond his work and family, Thomas found genuine enjoyment in the simple, lasting pleasures of life. He loved fishing, Jack Russells, antique tractors, and truck shows—interests that reflected a practical spirit, a fondness for tradition, and a quiet warmth that others felt in his presence.
