Vivian was born January 29, 1928 in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Vivian Dorothy Yoakam graduated from Bob Jones High school. She was married to James A. Pate on November, 19th 1947. Vivian worked at Beneke Printing and had a career in Bindery. She had a passion for crocheting, knitting, bingo and rummy.
She is survived by her children, James (Cindy) , Dorothy, Cheryl (Robert Szafranski) and Perry (Alice) , Her Grandchildren, Mallory, Logan, Jared, Jimmy Pate, Tony Pate, Jeanie (Geoff) Dubois, Tommy (Lindsay) Tadson, P.J. (Sherri), Rehannon, Jorma (Patricia) Douglas. Great Grandchildren, Thomas III, Taylor Rose, Paisley, Piper, Patriot, Praise, Psalm, Jorma Jr., Kaitlynn, Luna, and Katie.
