Wayne was my mother's brother. He was the youngest and only 10 years younger than me. I felt close to Wayne and looked on him as the brother I never had as I was raised as an only child. We stayed in touch through the years until shortly after my mother died in 2003. I shortly after started having serious health problems and wasn't able to keep in touch with him or anyone else. I wasn't aware Wayne had died until I tried to Google him and Bonnie just this morning. I will miss him greatly. It's ironic that I was reaching out to him because of my  own diagnosis of terminal cancer. My heart goes out to Bonnie and I hope she knows that we love her and hope that she is well.
