Michelle, Lauren, Jeff, David, and RJ, I am so sorry for your loss and all of our loss too. Joe was such a big part of everyone’s life. Joe and Michelle were at my wedding and then at my boys bar mitzvahs. At all parties Joe was the center of attention in such a good way. 
I used to love stopping by to see my Abba at the Garage and hear the two of them making jokes with each other,  and all the sarcasm wow! They loved being able to see each other everyday.  When my Abba passed away and I would stop by, Joe seemed so happy to see me (like a part of my Abba walked in) One day he said to me “I am mad at Gadi” I was so surprised to hear him say that and I asked him why? He said “because he left me” I started to cry like a baby.  They were so lucky to have this great friendship, and I know they are hanging out together now. 
You all take care of each other. Will be thinking of you. ❤️

Joe was more than our auto mechanic — he was someone we genuinely trusted and enjoyed seeing. He was funny, witty, and always made us feel welcome. Whenever I pulled in, I knew that between Joe, his incredibly efficient daughter Lauren, Jeff, and now RJ — and of course Mr. Kushner 🙂 — I was in the very best hands.
Joe had a good heart, and it showed in the way he treated people and ran his shop. He will truly be missed.

We lost great guy he was very happy and funny he loved his family very much he as worried for everyone. He loved his daughter and son and special his grandson RJ. Joe Kurek of Monsey Service Station was a man defined by chessed, integrity, and quiet goodness. He helped countless people without fanfare, always showing up when someone was in need. Joe embodied true kibbud av va’em, honoring his parents with deep respect, devotion, and love, setting an example for all who knew him.

He was a devoted father to his children, Lauren and his son, and together they are among the most remarkable families I have ever met warm, generous, and grounded in strong values that Joe lived every day.

This is a heartbreaking loss not only to his family, but to the entire community and the world at large. Joe’s presence made people feel supported, respected, and cared for, and that legacy will not be forgotten.

May his neshama have the highest elevation, and may his family find comfort in knowing how deeply he was loved and how much good he brought into this world.

Dear Lauren, Michelle and the entire family. I am so sorry for your loss. Joe was an amazing man who's smile would light up a room. A gentleman with a sense of humor and always a joy to be around. His presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

We were customers for over 40 years. Joe was a true mensche, and scrupulously honest. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. May his family know of no more sorrow.

I watched the funeral and it was beautiful. Joe was an amazing man. I wish i was able to get the video of him at my wedding 36 years ago with Michelle’s foot in his mouth 😂😂 he was the life of the party that’s for sure. Joe was also the best best friend to my Abba. Thank you for always being there for him as well. Now you two can cause trouble again. Rest in peace Joe

Dear Yossi you will be missed  for ever. So many great memories from our childhood in Givat Olga and then the years we spent together when  I came to the States. You and your sister helped me adjust  and took care of me. You were always with a great smile and a big heart🙏 
We were more than family. I am sorry you didn’t keep  your promise to come and visit me and my family in Israel.

How can I put my favorite memories of Uncle Joe into a few words? There are just too many to choose from but if I have to choose one, it would have to be when Uncle Joe would throw the dud apples back into the trees on our annual apple picking trips. It was a little roll plop behind his back that always made us all laugh. Every time we go apple picking we always copy his ‘Uncle Joe plop’ and laugh thinking of those funny moments. He will be forever missed and I will always be grateful for those memories and times with him.

What an incredible human being! What an incredible loss. 😞. Our family will never be the same.
