

Marilyn, known to everyone as Lynne was a loved wife, a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.
She graduated from Brooklyn College in New York with a Masters Degree in Education. She taught for the New York City School System until leaving to focus on raising a family. After 12 years she returned to work for IBM before retiring and going on to a 25 year career as a librarian at the Nyack Library. Lynne was a book lover.
Lynne was known to her family and friends as outgoing, social and friendly. Her specialty was "Grandma time", taking her grandkids to Broadway plays and eating out. If you want fine dining Lynne was the person to ask. Lynne treasures her friends near and far, will always say hi on the phone or send a card.
Her beshert and husband Jerry, predeceased her after 35 years of marriage. Lynne's legacy continues through her sons Steven and Jonathan, her daughter-in-laws Beth and Myrna, and her 5 grandchildren Camryn, Jordan, Jenna, Jake and Dylan.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Hellman Memorial Chapels, 15 State Street, Spring Valley, New York 10977.
