I will always remember Steve as always being kind and welcoming. We'd chat about the Mets and a variety of other topics. I always admired the passion he had for the individuals he served and how he would always greet his colleagues in a manner to make them smile. It was truly a shock to hear of his passing. My sincerest condolences go out to his family and friends. 

My condolences to the Klein family. I remember Steve as a man who would do anything for the the people he served. Both my sons had a relationship with him at Another Step. I always remember my husband saying “ man he’s tough Jordan hit him and I apologized and Steve said Larry it’s part of my job”.  He was a good person, kind and caring. He will be missed.


This is a crazy thought I had, when walked in to work today... I thought I would hear him say" hey boss lady".. but instead my heart Is filled with the loss of a special and sensitive soul. He felt everything and would make him anxious at time , but when he care about you, u knew it. I know that when he passed he felt our hearts break, and he felt the love we have for him. It's funny how his mind worked and things that he would say made you really think, he spoke so much about his mom and siblings. Also how proud of an uncle he was... just speaking about his one niece and her accomplishments. He made me laugh,  he could be frustrating when he was one of his goofy moods. But he Crack me up when he asked me to Crack his back. I said to him one day... you know if I actually charged u for ever time I have Crack your back in the last couple of years you would owe me a million bucks...I give anything for him to still be here... but the lord 🙏  had another plan... God bless and safe journey.

My sincere sympathy and condolences to Steve’s family.  Steve would always greet me at Hawthorne IRA asking, “How’s it going?” He had a good sense of humor that made me laugh often. He will be missed . . . Rest In Peace, Steve.

It is so hard to describe just how important Steven Klein is to the Zuccaro family. 
18 years ago when I married Steven Zuccaro,  Steven Klein  became my best friend too.
He has been a fixture at our holiday dinners, our birthday parties, and every celebratory milestone ( for us and our children) I don’t even know how we go on from here.
He is so extremely important to our children. He has not only been their friend but he has been an uncle. His love for them and us was apparent in every way and oh how we love him. 
No words can describe how we will miss him.  He is irreplaceable.
And so important to us. We are having such a hard time accepting this.
Thank you Steven Klein for blessing us with your friendship and your humor.
We love you and will forever miss you. Our hearts are broken.

We were blessed to have Steve Klein part of our son Jeff's life.  He was a manager in his group home.  Even after he left he still maintained contact with him through FaceTime.  He and Jeff would have a "script" he would say for him and it would make Jeff laugh.  Things like 48 inch pythons!  Steve was a wonderful man who was really able to connect with our special kids.  Sending condolences to the family.  He will be sorely missed.  I am including a photo from a St. Patrick's Day Parade in Pearl River.  He always stopped by to see the guys and Jeff always looked forward to that.  God Bless Steve.

Steve, you are a one of a kind person who will be remembered by everybody you interacted with. Your sense of humor is what  got your coworkers through the stressful days at work. You will be missed and your memory will live on.

Steven, was the kindest, thoughtful  and most supportive brother-in-law! 
From day one, when I joined the family, 20 years ago, he accepted me into his life!  
He was a fellow  ‘88 HS graduate, lefty and  Libra, after all!  
He always asked about  his beloved niece whenever he called and was amazing with her! 
I will truly miss him with all my heart.

He was a friend and brother to my heart, we have known each other since elementary school. When your young you think your immortal but I always felt Steven with his full of life attitude and sideways humor that some just couldn't understand would live at least a century. With his memories and his loved ones he will always be alive in our hearts. I will miss him.  My condolences to his family and friends. I am one who usually runs at the mouth and never is speechless, today, I am at a loss of words and a hole in my heart. Rest in peace and share your light with the angels that are watching above. I know you are now in your father's embrace. You will be missed, my friend.

There are no words in my vocabulary to adequately reflect the fun we had and the laughs we had. A total brother to me in every way, and an uncle to my kids. Loved by EVERYONE in my family. The concerts, the ballgames, the road trips, the holidays, and, of course, that unique sense of humor that only we (and my son) “got”…..just too much to  possibly express. So thankful for all of it, and so devastated that it has come to an end. Just a fantastic friend…35 years and never an argument.  So many stories that I will tell forever (and a bunch that I will have to keep to myself LOL). Thank you for all of it. I expect the phone to ring at any minute to hear you say “ZOOOOV” and tell me that none of this is true.  God bless you, my friend.  Be at peace with your dad (and mine, too).   -ZOOVIE

Many great times with Steve at camp. My favorite m miry was when he got a bunch of 12 and 13 year old boys to be theBob Ross Fan Club. Those kids really looked up to him. Genuinely a fun guy who really was friends with all.
