Every time I come into the office I cannot help  but think of Dr. Stuart Marvin.  I still remember him showing me some new family photos, telling me some hunting stories, and, of course, telling me some really great jokes which were, as he said, usually better than mine.  He touched so many lives and will always be remembered with a smile.

Another year passes but his memory lives on.  I still remember his professionalism, his love for his family, his caring attitude, his hunting stories, and, of course, his great jokes.  As I've said in previous entries, I will always think of him and smile.

I still miss his smile, great stories, and wonderful sense of humor.  He will not be forgotten.

Lost you too early. Rest In Peace my friend.

I will always remember Dr. Stuart Marvin's professionalism, caring attitude, warmth, great sense of humor, and wonderful smile.  His son, Dr. Warren Marvin, possesses the same attributes.  

I have been a patient of Dr. Stuart Marvin (and continue to be one with his son, Warren who, to me,  has so many of his father's qualities) for many, many years.  I will always remember his professionalism, his blunt frankness, his warmth and compassion, his hunting stories, his pride in and stories about his entire family, the pictures of his family on the wall, and his wonderful sense of humor.  We always shared jokes with one another and as he said, "that was a good one Friedlander, but I have an even better one."

My heartfelt sympathies go out to his entire family but they should know,  if they don't know already, how many people's lives he touched.  He was truly such a mensch. 

I will miss him terribly but when I think of him, I will always smile.

I worked with Adrienne Forbes, head of the BOCES Teachers' Center in Yorktown.  When her husband passed away my  colleague and I met for lunch and then visited Adrienne for a shiva call.  And look who was there! Stuart and Sally.  I never knew about the connection but it gave me another aspect of your Dad to consider.
PS And that was the day I lost my car keys AFTER I got home. They disappeared, maybe in some plastic bag I didn't check.

Farouk and I were very saddened to hear of the death of Dr. Marvin. We and our children have been patients for many years. I always remember thinking how the office seemed like such a happy place - especially for a dentist’s office. There were always a lot of jokes and laughter.Everyone seemed happy. Our sincerest condolences to Dr. and Mrs. Marvin and the entire Marvin family. May he Rest In Peace and may his memory be a blessing.  May happy memories provide you with solace during this time.

Dr Marvin has been our dentist since 1980.until he no longer was in the office and DrWarren took over.    He not only was amazing as a dentist but very kind and compassionate as a person.   I remember all the family pictures on the cabinets in the office which he talked about with such pride as he showed off the latest grandchild.or family event. He will absolutely be missed by all who know him.  Our condolences and love go out to his family and pray your memories  will be a comfort at this time.  May he Rest In Peace

Sorry to hear about the passing of Dr. Stuart Marvin.  We started with Dr Marvin when he was in the original office on Middletown Rd. in Nanuet. He would always talk to you and made you relax and feel comfortable. I remember one time we were in the current office on West Nyack Rd, in Nanuet and he took us in his office to show us his pictures from his hunting expeditions . He really enjoyed talking about his hunting trips.  Glad we were lucky to have known him.  Rest in Peace Dr. Marvin.

Dr. Marvin was my dentist for many, many years since the beginning of his original office in Nanuet. My family became friends with his and I began to babysit his 4 children ; eventually my sister Sue took over for me! Sally, Warren, Kenneth, Michael, and Charles, my family is saddened to hear this. I saw Stuey last year in the office, he looked great and was so happy to see him.  I'll never forget 2 things.  One was when he picked me up to babysit in his new car, the Jaguar! Second, was he came in to talk while I was with Warren, and he held my hand during a procedure and last was whenever he'd see me in the chair and tell everyone stories about me being the babysitter during a blackout!  What can I say, I'd go on forever... PS. My mom, Yvonne was the last patient he continued to clean her teeth as long as he practiced! love and good memories will forever be with us. ❤

was such an interesting, intelligent guy.  Obviously a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.  He will be missed by so many. Due to this terrible virus, I will not be attending the memorial service tomorrow.  Love to all of you. Jerry and Judy. 

To: Mrs. Marvin, Kenny & Family...my deepest sympathy for the loss of your Husband, Father & Grandfather, I will always remember him at Thanksgiving dinner by Ken & Rody's house, always good laughs.  Being working from home due to the Pandemic I will not be able to attend the funeral services tomorrow, but will be thinking of you and your family.  I hope Dr. Stuart is resting in peace....
