James Edgar Lyons, age 84, of Springboro, OH; died Tuesday March 23, 2021 at Hospice of Butler Warren County in Franklin. James was born in Paintsville, KY on March 26, 1936 to the late Edgar and Alice (Adams) Lyons.
James served our country in the US Army in the 2nd Armored Division “Hell On Wheels”. He was an electrician with Appleton Paper Company in West Carrollton for almost 40 years retiring in 1997.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Lyons; his two sisters, Edna Fannin and Faye Castle; his brother, Ping Lyons.
James is survived by his three sons, Jim (Terri) Lyons, Robert (Debbie) Lyons, Timothy (Angela) Lyons; his grandchildren, Erin, Melissa, April, Amber, Amy, Kimberly, Jenn, Matt, Jimmy, Brianna; and numerous great grandchildren.
Funeral Services are 1pm Saturday March 27, 2021 at Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E 2nd St Franklin, OH with Pastor Danny Griffith officiating. Burial will be in Heritage Hills Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be Saturday from 11am to 1pm at the funeral home.
