Lorie Nicole Wrazien

Lorie Nicole Wrazien, age 44, of Waynesville, Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her family. Lorie was born in Columbus, OH on March 20, 1980 to Lawrence and Shirley (Nicol) Knueven.

She graduated from Buckeye Valley High School Class of 1998 and was the class salutatorian. She received her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Physical Therapy from the University of Scranton, where she also met her husband. She most recently worked in the Miamisburg School District enriching the lives of children with developmental challenges and special needs. Lorie loved animals, hiking, art, coaching youth sports, and vacationing at the beach.

Lorie was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Barbara (McCavitt) Wrazien. She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Stephen Wrazien; her two children, Ethan and Callie; her mother, Shirley (Nicol) Knueven; her father, Lawrence Knueven; her father-in-law, Carl Wrazien; her brother-in-law, Daniel (Elizabeth) Wrazien; her sisters, Kendra (Timothy) Savage and Katti (Markus) Zarins; niece, Eva, nephews, Lucas, Liam, Connor.

A Celebration of Life will be 10AM Friday January 24, 2025 at Anderson Funeral Home 40 N Main St Springboro, OH. Family and friends will be gathering at the Life Celebration Center 1357 E 2nd St Franklin, OH from 11am to 2pm for food and fellowship.

In lieu of sending flowers, donations in Lorie’s memory can be made to The Foodbank of Dayton or Louie’s Legacy Animal Rescue.
