Susan Oster

Susan Deanna Oster, age 79 of Springboro passed peacefully in her home Thursday, October 8th with family by her side. Born and raised in Jelico, TN and as a teen her family relocated to Dayton, OH where she met her husband, Gerald "Jerry" Oster and started their lives together. Susan spent her career working in the Springboro School district where she was well loved and respected by her colleagues and the community. Her greatest accomplishment in life is her family and the life built with her loving "Jerry". Susan's children and grandchildren will hold on to the many memories they shared growing up with her in the kitchen preparing large family meals and sweet treats, recipes that will be shared for generations to come. She lived a long happy life and will be greatly missed for her kind loving heart and her sassy sense of humor.

"God saw you getting tired and a cure not to be. So he put his arms around you and whispered 'Come to me'".

Susan was preceded in death by her daughter Kimberly Oster. She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years Gerald Oster; children Michael (Sandra) Oster and Patrick Oster; grandchildren Ashley (Dustin) Hudson, Yolanda Oster, Heather Oster, Carleen (Andrew James) Stacy and Jack Oster; great grandson Gabriel Stacy.
