Wahid Farid Iskandr

Mr. Iskandr was a very kind and reserved man, who loved talking with his family. In his spare time he enjoyed watching Egyptian and foreign politics.

He loved his sons and always talked them up. He always wanted others to know about them, and saw his boys as his greatest “contribution” to society. He expressed his love through acts of generosity.

He highly respected his daughter-in-law, regularly noting her intelligence and class. He praised his wife for her tremendous and unparalleled care of him-especially in his time of illness- acknowledging her pure heart and dedication.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Lorice Iskandr, and Afaaf Iskandr; and brother, Rafik Iskandr.

Wahid is survived by his wife, Sanaa Iskandr; sons, Mina Wahid (Ann) Iskandr, and Kyrilos Wahid Iskandr; as well as many extended family and friends.

A funeral service for Wahid will be held Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 12:30 PM at St. Mina and St. Abanoub Coptic Orthodox Church, 1531 King Richard Pkwy, Miamisburg, OH 45342 with HG Bishop Seraphim, as well as Father Angilos Antoun officiating. Following the funeral service will be an interment at Miami-Corwin Cemetery, 6379 Corwin Ave, Waynesville, OH 45068.
