Amanda Dunkirk

Amanda Dunkirk, 24, of Springfield, died on Sunday, March 26, 2006 at Memorial Medical Center. Amanda was born May 14, 1981 in Springfield the daughter of Mike and Debbie Ruggles Flynn. She married Larry Dunkirk on May 30, 1999 in Jacksonville, IL. Amanda was a good mother, a loving, caring and outgoing person. She was always helping others and enjoyed music. She was preceded in death by her grandmother: Halley Ruggles and brother: Edward Flynn. She is survived by her husband: Larry Dunkirk of Springfield; daughter: Marissa Dunkirk of Springfield; mother: Debbie Flynn of Springfield; father: Mike Flynn of Chapin, IL; four brothers: Michael Flynn of Springfield, Jason Flynn of Springfield, Thomas Flynn of Jacksonville and Nicholas Flynn of Springfield; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 31, 2006 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 31, 2006 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Alan Dennis officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
