Annabelle Sexton

Annabelle Sexton, 71, of Springfield, passed away August 25, 2001 in Phoenix, Arizona. Annabelle was born May 28, 1930 the daughter of William and Alice Pearl Moffitt Harris in Springfield, IL. She married Michael L. Urban in October 1948 at Sacred Heart Church in Springfield. Michael preceded her in death in March 1967. She married Harry W. Sexton December 8, 1967 at St. James Church in Riverton. She retired from Family Pharmacy in Riverton after 17 years and became a homemaker. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, J.W. Harris. She is survived by her husband, Harry W. Sexton of Springfield; six children: Michael R. (wife, Mona) Urban of Buffalo, Linda (husband, Mark) Birnbaum of Phoenix, AZ, Mark (wife, Becky) Urban of Spaulding, Lori Ann (husband, Ed) Drea of Phoenix, AZ, Amy (husband, Darrin) Naslund of Springfield, Julie Ann (husband, Scott) Eggleston of Springfield; Eight grandchildren: Andrea Knoles, Amanda, Angela and Justin Urban, Brandon and Bradley Drea, Katie Naslund, Garrett Eggleston; one great grandchild: Gavin Knoles; three brothers: William (wife, Esther) Harris of Peoria, Paul (wife, Pat) Harris of Williamsville, Sam Harris of West Frankfort; six sisters: Maxine Wells of Springfield, Donna (husband, Dale) Smith of Auburn, Dorothy Lyons of Riverton, Alice (husband, Norm) Kleinschmidt of Chapin, Carol Harris of East Peoria and Kay (husband, William) Shures of Springfield. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home from 5-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2001 with a wake service at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, August 30, 2001 at The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception with Reverend Peter Harman.
