

Bernice Ann Lauduskie, 84, of Springfield died at 11:45 p.m. on Friday, November 25, 2005 at her residence. Bernice was born January 1, 1921 in Girard, the daughter of Joseph and Anna Bartosik. She married Joseph Lauduskie on September 5, 1942 in Springfield; he preceded her in death on August 13, 1996. Mrs. Lauduskie had worked for the Sangamo Club where she later retired. She was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church and was a past president of the Altar and Rosary Society and lifetime member of the Prop Club. She also enjoyed volunteering at Villa Healthcare in Sherman. She was also preceded in death by her parents and eight brothers and sisters. She is survived by one son: Edward C. (wife, Nancy) Lauduskie of Marietta, GA; two daughters: Sandra (husband, James) Bloom of Chatham and Diana “Dee” (husband, John) Runge of Ocala, FL; five grandchildren: Adriana Schroeder, Michelle Schwarzmann, Christopher Miles, Ryan Lauduskie and Evan Bloom; two step grandchildren; four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 4-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. Visitation will begin with a prayer service at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 1020 N. Milton, Springfield, IL with Rev. Richard L. Chiola celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 1020 N.
