Betty Gregory Johnson

Betty was born September 27, 1918 to Earl and Margaret Gregory of Bement, IL. She married Kenneth Johnson of Champaign, IL in 1951; he preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Rob Isringhausen.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Johnson Isringhausen of Springfield; grandchildren, Luke (Abby) Isringhausen, Abby (Alex) Nudo, and John Tyler, Josef, and Isaac Isringhausen; four great-grandchildren, Levi, Ben, and Ivy Isringhausen and Bianca Nudo; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Betty was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, Aunt and dear friend to many. She never missed any activities her grandchildren were involved in. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren who brought her so much joy, and any visits from them always put a smile on her face.

Betty was a member of Grace Bible Chapel, and was involved in numerous Bible studies and organizations over the years, including Washington Street Mission.

Betty was a wonderful cook and a classy lady, who loved to entertain her friends and family. She was also a faithful shopping buddy to many of her friends.

Private burial will be held for the immediate family.

Memorial Gathering and Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 10:30 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Grace Bible Chapel, 3335 Woodhaven Dr., Springfield. A memorial ceremony will follow at 12:45 p.m.
