Bobbi Jo B.J. Pudschun

BJ was born in Springfield, June 11, 1982. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, two daughters: Skylar Rae Purnell and Jaedyn Rae Purnell, and her older brother, Michael Pudschun.

She was a very accomplished crafter. She loved to decorate just about anything and everything. She was well known for creating handmade gifts for family and friends. She enjoyed fishing, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Holidays, birthdays, and just getting together were the best as she would plan and organize the gatherings and parties.

BJ is survived by her fiancé, Matt Purnell, her two sons: Gaige and Jase Purnell, all of Buffalo, her mother and step father, Kathy and Dave Patrick of Rochester, IL, her sister, Toni (husband J.R.) Myers of Dawson, IL, three nephews: Dylan Thomas of Edinburg, IL, Jay Myers and Kammeron Myers both of Springfield, IL, her “mother in law” Cheryl Mcknelly of Springfield, IL, a dear friend who was like a brother, Dan Stevens of Rochester, IL and a host of friends and extended family.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Bisch and Son Funeral Home 505 E. Allen St. Springfield, IL on Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 4:00-7:00 pm. Cremation Rites will be accorded following the visitation.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish may direct memorial contributions to the Purnell family to assist with the education of her children at UCB Bank.
