

Brenda Marie Picco-Morris, age 63, of Springfield, Illinois, formerly of Herrin and Marion, Illinois died at 11:38 p.m., Monday, March 25, 2002 in St. John’s Hospital, Springfield, Illinois. She was born on June 24, 1938, in Herrin, Illinois to the late William A. and Nana Finn Marlow. She married John M. Picco in Springfield, Illinois and he preceded her in death. She later married Daniel J. Morris and he survives. Other survivors include two daughters: Valarie (husband, Terry) LeSeure of Springfield and Jennifer (husband, Seth) Freeman of Chicago; two sons: Jeff (wife, Julene) Picco of Springfield and Nick (wife, Stephanie) Picco of Edinburg; and five grandsons and three granddaughters. She is also survived by three sisters: Linda Hughes of Lemont, MO., Karen Wilkenloh of Atlanta, GA and Leah Spencer of Washington, DC. Mrs. Picco-Morris graduated from Imperial Beach, CA High School and Fullerton College, Fullerton, CA. She was a homemaker and during her working years was a floral designer for several floral shops in Springfield until her ill health intervened. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin, Illinois. Friends may call Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home from 5-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2002. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2002 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home with Reverend Richard Chiola officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family of Brenda Marie Picco-Morris is being served by Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home 900 S. 6th St., Springfield.
