

Bronwyn Lloyd Eves, 46, of Springfield, died on Friday, July 8, 2016 in Springfield. Bronwyn was born in Springfield on October 10, 1969. She was a graduate of Ursuline Academy. Her early talent for art led her to study art history at the University of Illinois where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree and later to State University New York, Buffalo where she received her Master of Arts in Art Conservation. She was awarded internships and jobs at the most prestigious museums in the country including the Smithsonian Museum, Washington, DC; the Peabody Museum in Cambridge, MA; the Art Institute and the Field Museum both in Chicago; and the Illinois State Museum in Springfield. She opened her own studio, Bronwyn Eves Conservation Studios, Inc. in 1999. Bronwyn is survived by her husband, Bill; her daughters, Sophia and Amelia; her mother, Patricia Lloyd; and her sisters, Glynis Bell of Arlington, VA and Meaghan Lloyd of Los Angeles, CA. Her favorite roles were as wife, mother to her two daughters, and enthusiastic volunteer for various community organizations over the last 18 years, including the Springfield Art Association (past President), the Dana- Thomas House Foundation, and the Springfield Public School Foundation. She loved her gardens, relaxing on the beach, and attending live music performance. Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. Memorial Gathering: Family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. The family requests in lieu of flowers, any donations be made in memory of Bronwyn to the Arts Outreach Program at Springfield Art Association, 700 N. 4th St., Springfield, IL 62702.
