Catherine Chandler, Springfield, died at 10:25 a.m. Monday, September 1, 2003 at St. Joseph’s Home. She was born December 24, 1909 in Venice, IL, the daughter of Charles and Agnes Keegan Chandler. Catherine worked as an accountant for the Illinois Department of Agriculture, retiring in 1974 after 35 years of service. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Catherine was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by several cousins. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 5, 2003 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception with Rev. Msgr. John R. Ossola celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Edwardsville with Rev. John L. Corredato C.S.V. officiating. The family of Catherine Chandler is being served by Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield.
