Charlotte "Sug" A. Greer

Charlotte "Sug" A. Greer, 66, of Springfield, passed away at 1:12 p.m. on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center. Sug was born August 13, 1947 in Pittsfield, the daughter of Lawrence and Mardell Conboy Barton. Sug was a graduate of Griggsville High School. She retired from Anderson Electric and had previously been employed by Intercorp and the State of IL. She enjoyed do it yourself projects, woodworking, and spending time with her family and dog. Sug was a fun loving and giving person. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and a hard worker. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Sean Greer. She is survived by her ex-husband, Joe Greer; two daughters, Joelle (husband, Mark) Ryan of Rochester and Jamie (husband, Jesse) Tellier of Springfield; eight grandchildren, Collin, Caitlyn, Ceelyn, Curklin, and Camrin Ryan, and James, Sean, and Jessicka Tellier; one brother, Bob (wife, Janice) Barton of CO; one sister, Larry Louise (husband, Tony) Fowler of Kansas; one great-grandson, Wyatt Cumming; her dog child, Bandit; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center. Memorial Ceremony: The family will be hosting a Memorial Ceremony on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Botanical Garden in Washington Park.
