

Cindy L. Wolosick, 46, of Palatine, formerly of Springfield, died on Friday, August 12, 2005 at her home. Cindy was born May 1, 1959 in Springfield, IL the daughter of John B. and Louise E. Raboin Wolosick. Ms. Wolosick attended St. Aloysius Elementary School, and graduated from Lanphier High School and Illinois State University, earning a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology. She was employed by School District 15 for 21 years as a speech and language pathologist at Lake Louise Elementary School in Palatine. She also had a side business in real estate and an interior design business based in Bloomington, IL allowing her to travel and decorate homes all over the country. Cindy had a heart of gold and was very strong willed and compassionate. She enjoyed helping people, especially children and kept in touch with many of the students she had taught over the years. She is survived by her parents: John B. and Louise E. Wolosick of Springfield; two brothers: Michael D. (wife, Amy) Wolosick of St. Louis and John R. (wife, Maureen) Wolosick of Marietta, GA; several aunts and uncles; three nieces: Katie, Anna and Caroline Wolosick; two nephews: Ben and Jake Wolosick; and special friend: Derek Menard of Palatine. Family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 18, 2005 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. Visitation will begin with a prayer service at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 19, 2005 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 2125 N. 21st St., Springfield with Reverend Mark A. Schulte celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
