Clarence G. Peters, Jr., 76, of Springfield, died at 2:08 a.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Aperion Care. Clarence was born February 8, 1939 in Springfield, the son of Clarence G. and Rose Marie DeVos Peters; they preceded him in death. He is survived by his sister, Jean Atchisson of Springfield; one niece, Carol J. Peak; one nephew, Arthur O. Atchisson; and several great-nieces and nephews and cousins. Funeral Ceremony: 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 23, 2015 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield with Chaplain Bob Goebel officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
