Ms.Lynn is survived by four daughters: Carrie Jizmagian of Portland, Oregon, Sara (Chris) Radunzel, Amanda Ewald and Megan Jizmagian all of Springfield, nine grandchildren: E.J. Syes, Payton Waldron, Preston Waldron, Sadie Radunzel, Brady Radunzel, Avalyn Ewald, Railyn Fry, Ahmari Shephard and Ahmyla Shephard, three nephews and one brother Ronald (Lee) Brown of South Carolina.
Cynthia graduated from Eastern Illinois University and began her teaching career in the Chicago suburbs. She taught at Riverton High School and Riverton Middle School for over thirty years. Cynthia loved to sing and she sang in the Heavenly Harmony Choral Group in Chatham, the Laurel United Methodist Choral Group and the Springfield Symphony Orchestra. She enjoyed golf, bowling, BUNCO and anything sports related. Cynthia was a member of P.E.O. Sisterhood Chapter ES, Sigma Kappa Sorority and Laurel United Methodist Church.
Cremation rites were accorded. The family will host a memorial gathering on Thursday April 20, 2023 from 5:30pm-7:30pm at Laurel United Methodist Church, 631 South Grand Avenue West, Springfield, IL. 62704. A memorial service will be held at 10:30am on Saturday April 22, 2023 at Zion Chapel United Methodist Church in Boody, IL.
