

Danny Joe Page, 52 of Springfield, died at 6:18 p.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2000 at St John's Hospital. He was born July 12, 1948 the son of Walter R. and Betty J. Heflin Page in Springfield, IL. Mr. Page had been a sales person for Pitney Bowes for the past 20 years, he was previously employed by Barker-Lubin Lumber Company. He was a graduate of Urbana High School and attended the University of Illinois. Mr. Page loved playing golf and running. He was preceded in death by his son, Douglas Page in 1992, his parents, an infant sister, Patricia Page and his grandparents, Warren and Pearl Page. Survivors: Two daughters, Kimberly Page of Chicago, IL and Mary Page of San Jose, CA.; fiancee, Mary L. Olson of Springfield and her children Kelly Olson of Minneapolis, MN and Terry Olson of Mizola, Montana; two sisters, Jackie (husband, Bud) Melchi of Champaign, IL and Susan (husband, Kenneth) Johnson of Urbana, IL; three uncles, Warren and Ray Page, both from Tucson, AZ and Harry L. Page of Springfield, IL; an aunt, Carol Shutt of Ft. Wayne, IN and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family is being served by Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 South Sixth Street in Springfield. Visitaion will be from 5-8:00 p.m. Friday, December 1, 2000 with a wake service beginning at 5:00 p.m.. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 2, 2000 at St. Agnes Catholic Church with The Very Reverend Patrick Wright, VF officiating. Cremation will follow the Funeral Services.
