

She was born October 15, 1959, to Irvin and Marjorie (Lillard) Redenius. She was preceded in death by both of her parents.
Debbie graduated from Rushville High School in 1977. She began her career at Capitol Records/EMI until the plant closed, later working as a secretary. After retiring, she embraced her favorite role of all-being a grandma.
On January 2, 1993, Debbie married Phil Cox. Together they loved to travel and were devoted parents and grandparents. Debbie’s family meant the world to her and brought her endless joy. In addition to her family, she cherished her three cats. She was also a talented artist, seamstress, and bargain hunter.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Phil; two children, Nicolette (Joel) Harris and Nathan Doerfler; three grandchildren, Natalie, Micah, and Perry; four sisters, Sandy (Dean) Ward, Terri (Jeff) Zeeck, Amy (Richie) Vozza, and Jennifer (Scott) Busby; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Her smile, wit, and deep love for her family will remain in our hearts forever.
Visitation will be 4-7pm on Monday September 8, 2025 at Bisch Funeral Home West, 2931 Koke Mill Road. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday September 9, 2025 at Bisch West with Bret Hammond officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Brown County Animal Rescue.
