Diane B. Bantner

Diane was born on July 6, 1954, in Springfield, the daughter of Alfred and Margie Brown Enlow.

She was a graduate of Lanphier High School. She had a contagious laugh. Diane loved her family, animals, music, and collecting antiques and angels.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Steve Binning.

She is survived by her son, James R. (Jessica) Bantner of Virden, IL; five grandchildren, Bethany Diane, Rhiannon Persphone Jo, and Alfred William Christopher Bantner, and Kaiya James and Vance Davis Chiarodo; one great-grandchild, Bastian Atreyu Michael Mohr; three siblings, David (Karen) Enlow, Sharon S. Durning, and Mary Jo Enlow.

Visitation: Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Butler Funeral Home-Springfield, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield, IL.

Cremation will be provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League.
